who we are

Established in 2023, brittni and the polar bear was born from the imagination and passion of brittni watkins (aka azurepolarbear): a software engineer, algorithmic artist, photographer, and teacher.

All of our products feature original art and photographs from the azurepolarbear portfolio. Our hope is that our designs bring joy, lightness, and a unique twist to your day; with mugs, notebooks, and gifts suitable for every occasion.

There is beauty in code, and code can make beautiful things.

how do you make art with code?

All of our art designs are created using JavaScript or TypeScript and the p5.js graphics library. Our team is also developing the @batpb/genart library, an open source project for creating responsive, interactive code art projects.
